ZIMA, a more complete multidomain diagnosis

In both everyday life and business, mobile communications have become fundamental.  Increasingly, therefore, incidents need to be treated with more care and operators are trying to react quickly to minimise their impact and increase customer satisfaction.

Today there are a lot of solutions on the market that are used to understand how network malfunctioning affects customers, and the truth is that most of them offer partial perspectives.

With this in mind and all the problems that operators face every day, our R+D+i department has developed ZIMA, a new software that offers a multi-domain diagnosis of networks, in a more complete way, reducing costs and without the need for large economic investments.

What is ZIMA?

ZIMA has the ability to monitor the quality of service provided to end customers by mobile operators. It provides really valid information for the operating companies. The customer experience can be analyzed by each subscriber who is connected to the network and all service information.

As Ayscom CEO Federico Hornillos noted,”Before Zima, none of the technical sources provided an overview and in most cases a manual analysis was required to cross-check all the information and come to a conclusion.”

Why ZIMA?

CLAVES

  • It offers the best possible diagnosis using all available information.
  • It’s automatic.
  • End-to-end visibility.
  • Provides information by user and event (without aggregated information).
  • It combines the subscriber experience and network performance.
  • It’s economical.

BENEFITS

  • Reduces the cost of call centers.
  • Reduces the cost of technical analysis: automatic diagnosis of multiple domains.
  • Avoids ad-hoc unit tests.
  • It is an economical alternative to powering the test equipment.
  • Reduces resolution times.
  • Increases customer satisfaction

How does it work?

It is a platform that receives information from 2 main sources:

  1. Passive monitoring system present in the operator, which provides the vision of the interfaces of the network core.
  2. Zima Android agent installed on user terminals that provide all available information from the subscriber perspective (phone status, user activity and geolocated radio network information). Once all the information gathered is available on the platform, it is classified into scenarios according to user activity. After this, these information groups are evaluated with a diagnostic engine. The results obtained are available to the operator automatically so that they can be analyzed in the ZIMA web user interface.
In short, this powerful and easy-to-use software offers a deep knowledge and analysis of all the activity that customers perform through their phones.

Zima is the answer if you need a diagnostic system covering all network domains.
